Tottenham face arguably their toughest test so far this season as they head to Stamford Bridge to play against an in-form Chelsea side on Sunday.
Jose Mourinho’s side are more than capable of beating the Premier League’s top sides, after all, they’ve dismantled the two Manchester clubs by an aggregate score of 8-1.
However, Mourinho may be facing his former club at the worse possible time.
Morale is bound to be high at Chelsea after a run of six consecutive wins in all competitions, and if Spurs are going to get anything against their London rivals they will have to be at their best.
Of course, in order to be at their best they have to pick the strongest team possible.
We’ve had a go at predicting how Spurs will lineup on Sunday.
We expect Mourinho to make a massive eight changes from Thursday’s win over Ludogorets.
Unsurprisingly, Hugo Lloris returns in goal, while the back four returns to a similar look we saw against Manchester City, but with Davinson Sanchez coming in for the injured Toby Alderweireld.
The midfield is completely different to what we saw start against Ludogorets, as Mourinho goes with the same players we saw start against Man City. This means there’s no space for Gareth Bale in this XI as Steven Bergwijn and Heung-min Son come in to play on the wings.
Up top, Harry Kane is back in the team.
This is bound to be an intriguing tactical battle between Mourinho and his close friend Frank Lampard.
