Tottenham boss has discussed option of buying players to loan back out, and Celtic’s Moussa Dembele should be high on the list.

Tottenham Hotspur boss Mauricio Pochettino has stated he wants the club to be proactive in January and tie up deals for the summer ahead.
The Sun recently reported that Tottenham remain interested in Celtic striker Moussa Dembele, and this strategy could be their best chance of signing the Frenchman.

Dembele has scored for fun since signing for Celtic from Fulham, netting 40 goals in 66 games.
But if Spurs want him in January, it would be more difficult, with Celtic keen to put together a run in the Europa League to show they have what it takes in Europe – and that surely means keeping their best players.
The reality is though, that Dembele will be hard to keep hold of, and by agreeing a sale now, Celtic could meet the situation head on, and save themselves a summer of angst.

This would allow Celtic to plan early for their own summer targets and find a replacement, rather than try and negotiate during the World Cup and risk their players coming in after pre-season would be ready.
It would allow Dembele to complete his season at Celtic and collect a league title medal he is contributing towards, while more cup success could come his way too.
A substantial offer from Spurs now would allow everybody to take stock of where they stand, and should have some appeal for both clubs.
For Tottenham it would allow them to correct a mistake they made by not pushing a deal for the striker in 2016 when he was in his final months at Fulham.
