Tottenham Hotspur signing Serge Aurier is good news for Swansea City.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly edging closer to securing a deal for Ivory Coast defender Serge Aurier.
Paris Saint-German have already agreed to sell the right-back after they signed Dani Alves this summer from Juventus.
According to reports from L’Equipe (printed edition; August 25, press reader), Aurier is ready to switch to the Premier League, and has undergone a medical ahead of his £23 million move.
There are legal obstacles to overcome, but Spurs will hope they can land their target.

Aurier’s move to Tottenham is good news for Swansea who can now concentrate on signing Santiago Arias frm PSV Eindhoven.
Spurs were heavily interested in the Colombian international, with ESPN reporting last week that the north London club are considering making a move.
Tottenham have sold Kyle Walker to Manchester City for £50 million, and are looking to bring in an able replacement.

The report claimed that the Colombian is on Tottenham’s transfer wish-list after catching the eye with his performances for club and country. However, it seems they have moved on from Arias and are focussing entirely on signing Aurier.
The 25-year-old Colombian has been linked with a move to Swansea, but the Welsh club are yet to submit a bid.
