Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko issues statement on Twitter about claims he could leave

Moussa Sissoko insists he remains a Tottenham player.

Moussa Sissoko has dismissed claims he is set to leave Tottenham Hotspur to move to Turkey.

Sissoko has been strongly linked with a move to Trabzonspor.

France Football had claimed Sissoko had agreed to move on loan to the club, but Spurs blocked the move because they are only willing to sell him.

Sissoko sent a message on Twitter hitting out at reports.

Sissoko’s message translates as: “Are all flying flies information? No deal with any club – then keep cool. #transfert #presse #turkey”

There is no guarantee Sissoko won’t move on, but he appears determined to point out that he is not leaving right now.

Tottenham’s determination to recoup the £30 million they paid for the France international could price him out of a transfer, but he remains at present an option to Mauricio Pochettino.

After struggling to impress in his debut season at the club, Sissoko started the first game of 2017/18 and will hope more chances will come his way.
