Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are Premier League rivals.

Tottenham Hotspur manager Mauricio Pochettino has revealed to The Mirror his chat with Manchester City assistant boss Mike Arteta.

Pochettino – who earns £8.5 million per year as salary, according to The Telegraph – has disclosed that he asked Arteta about how long the City players were allowed time off during the summer.

The Spurs boss told The Mirror: “But we gave all the players 21 days off. More than some teams.

“I think Man City… I was talking with Mikel Arteta… they agreed to have only 15 days holiday and they arrived one week before our players.”

Tired?

Tottenham have lost their last three matches in all competitions, and there are suggestions that some of the players are tired.

Spurs had a number of their players reached the semi-finals of the World Cup, and they did come back late for pre-season training.

While there are signs that star striker Harry Kane is tired, it is important that Tottenham manage the current situation properly.

Tottenham are in a bad run of form, but they do have enough good players to get themselves out of it.

Winning against Brighton and Hove Albion in the Premier League on Saturday is not going to be easy, but if the North London outfit are able to grind out a result, then it will boost the confidence of the players and lift them.
