These must be exciting times to be involved with Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur's Brazilian midfielder Lucas Moura (C) celebrates after scoring their first goal during the English FA Cup fifth round football match between Rochdale and Tottenham...

Tottenham ace Lucas Moura sat down for an exclusive interview with Italian media outlet Gazzetta dello Sport, and raved about the quality of his team heading into their Champions League clash with Juventus on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian joined Spurs from Paris Saint-Germain on transfer deadline day in January, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £25 million, and he has made an instant impact in north London, already notching up a goal and two assists in five outings thus far.

Mauricio Pochettino’s men are in the midst of a fine run of form, having not lost a game since December 16th, and they are in a good position in their Champions League tie with Juve, after drawing the away leg in Turin 2-2.

Moura, 25, spoke exclusively to Gazzetta dello Sport, and named four of his teammates who he considers to be top class performers:

Dele Alli of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates with Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen of Tottenham Hotspur during the Premier League match between Tottenham Hotspur and Southampton at Wembley...

“I’m happy to have joined Tottenham. I was happy in Paris but something didn’t go the right way in the last few months. There are some top class players here: Kane, Eriksen, Alli and Son. I’m happy here.”

It is hard to argue with the Brazil international’s assessment of Harry Kane, Dele Alli and co.

Pochettino possesses one of the most exciting young squads in world football, and Juventus will surely not be relishing the prospect of taking them on at Wembley on Wednesday night.

Moura, though, insisted that the Old Lady are dangerous opponents, and warned his side that they cannot afford to ease up against the Italian champions, as quoted by Gazzetta dello Sport:

Lucas Moura of Tottenham Hotspur celebrates scoring the first Tottenham Hotspur goal during The Emirates FA Cup Fifth Round match between Rochdale and Tottenham Hotspur on February 18,...

“The return leg will be a tough one. The It would be a mistake to remain quiet and try to control the game at Wembley.”

Tottenham vs Juventus kicks of at 19:45, and can be seen exclusively live on BT Sport.
