France played their final warm up game before Euro 2020 kicks off last night.

The world champions saw off Bulgaria 3-0. Antoine Griezmann opened the scoring before Olivier Giroud added a late double.

Tottenham goalkeeper Hugo Lloris kept a clean sheet, his fourth consecutive international shutout.

It’s actually the first time he’s done that in his career and should boost his confidence ahead of the tournament.

It was a tricky season for Lloris at Spurs.

He was clearly affected by the Europa League exit at the hands of Dinamo Zagreb.

He’s the captain of France and will be looking to add the European Championship to the 2018 World Cup in his collection.

New goalkeeper on Spurs’ boss agenda?

Lloris isn’t the goalkeeper he once was and Spurs need to have one eye on replacing him.

That might be tricky this summer, with the Euros and a new manager coming in.

There is a need for a long-term replacement, but Lloris has every chance of coming back to Spurs as a European champion.

It’ll be hard to keep up his clean sheet record with Germany and Portugal in their group, but if France can keep that bedrock, it’ll help massively.
