Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen on Stuttgart’s Benjamin Pavard.

Given question marks over the future of defender Toby Alderweireld, Tottenham Hotspur are set to be linked with a host of centre backs ahead of the summer transfer window.
Alderweireld has yet to sign a new contract with the club, and amid claims that he could move on this summer, Mauricio Pochettino’s men may look for another option this summer.
The Mirror have already claimed that Spurs are keen on Bayer Leverkusen ace Jonathan Tah, whilst Bild now report that Tottenham have scouted another Bundesliga defender – Stuttgart’s Benjamin Pavard.

Spurs allegedly watched Pavard in action against Koln on Sunday, possibly with a view to targeting him for a summer move as Pochettino considers his options.
Spurs fans may not be too familiar with reported target Pavard, but here are five facts about the defender…
1. Pavard, 21, came up through the ranks with Lille having joined the club in 2005, spending ten years with them.
2. After just 21 league appearances, Pavard moved on to German side Stuttgart in 2016, and has gone from strength to strength following his move.

3. Pavard helped Stutgart win the 2. Bundesliga title last season, notching one goal and two assists in 21 games as the club clinched promotion.
4. Pavard has already earned his first France call-ups, having landed two caps for Didier Deschamps’ side in 2017, meaning he is contention for a spot at this summer’s World Cup.
5. Capable of playing at centre back or right back, Pavard could be a versatile option for Pochettino, possessing huge potential to become Tottenham’s latest star of the future.
