The 24-year-old has been sensational for the Lilywhites this season, banging in 31 goals in 32 appearances in all competitions thus far, and he has firmly established himself as one of the continent’s most prolific strikers in the process.

“Harry is such a great example to the young lads because he’s first one out to train, last one in, always practising and he’s only 24. That’s 100 goals in 141 games in the Premier League, remarkable. He’s a top professional. I said to him on the pitch after the game at Anfield that he showed great character to step up and take the second penalty and score his 100th goal as well.”

Next up for Tottenham is their huge clash with bitter rivals Arsenal at Wembley on Saturday, and they will need Kane to be at his very best once again, if they are to earn maximum points against Arsene Wenger’s side.
