The 18-year-old Tottenham Hotspur player is impressing in this season’s competition.

Tottenham Hotspur’s next generation continued their impressive FA Youth Cup run with victory against Newcastle United earlier this week, setting up a semi-final against Chelsea.
While many of Spurs’ teenage prospects have done well, striker Kazaiah Sterling is looking particularly promising as the competition’s joint-second highest scorer with six goals to date.
With plenty more football still to be played, the 18-year-old has the chance to move out on his own, although Chelsea’s Mason Mount (with five) and Stoke City’s Tyrese Campbell (with seven) may have something to say about that.
Stoke will play Manchester City in the other semi-final and it will be interesting to see who faces off in the final later this season.
City, Chelsea and Tottenham have arguably the best academy prospects in the country right now, so it is no surprise to see all three in the latter stages of the competition.

Sterling is highly rated at Tottenham and while he is behind the likes of Shayon Harrison for a starting spot he will know he can still leapfrog his slightly older teammate if he continues to impress.
With Vincent Janssen continuing to struggle, and Tottenham putting all their faith in Harry Kane yet again this season, a space could open up for a talented teenager in the close season, and at this rate Sterling will definitely be in the mix.
