Tottenham Hotspur defender Juan Foyth has been called up for this summer’s Copa America.

Tottenham defender Juan Foyth has taken to Twitter to suggest that he has fulfilled a dream by being included in Argentina’s final squad for this summer’s Copa America.
The Spurs man is one of five outfield players in Lionel Scaloni’s squad to have just two caps for their country. Argentina will meet Colombia, Paraguay and Qatar in the group-stages in Brazil.
Of course, that opening game could see Foyth come up against one of his Tottenham teammates, with Davinson Sanchez named in his country’s provisional squad.
It could prove to be an incredible summer for Foyth, who will probably be reflecting on Mauricio Pochettino’s decision in February to add him to Tottenham’s Champions League squad as a real blessing with the final of the competition just around the corner.

Foyth was left out during the group-stages, but is now available for the showdown with Liverpool in Madrid. And he will be hoping that Spurs can lift the trophy before he heads off to link up with his national team.
And following his inclusion in Argentina’s final squad, Foyth took to social media to express his excitement about the upcoming tournament. And in response, a number of Spurs fans congratulated the youngster on the call-up.

Here is Foyth’s tweet, as well as some of the responses…
