The 19-year-old found the net while on international duty, scoring in England Under-21s 5-0 win over Bosnia, and Onomah hopes to see is hard work pay off with more goals.

“Any chance that I get, I’m looking to score goals,” Onomah told tottenhamhotspur.com.
“That’s the plan right now. It’s something that I’ve been working on for a while and I’m happy that the work has been paying off lately, but I’ve got to keep going and stay focused.”
While the midfielder’s plan to score goals is nothing top secret, the positive words from Onomah shows the positive mood within the Tottenham camp right now under Mauricio Pochettino.

The North London club are second in the Premier League and are the only team who can still boast an unbeaten record, having got one over on Pep Guardiola’s Manchester City before the international break.
Onomah has just one club goal to his name, which came in the EFL Cup win over Gillingham, and will be hoping that the Argentinian manager gives him more chances in the Premier League to break his duck and find the net.
The way Pochettino has developed young English talent at White Hart Lane has been nothing short of sensational, so Onomah will know he is in safe hands with regards to his development. If the teenager can add Premier League goals to his game, he could be afforded the opportunity to play for the England senior side, rather than the Under-21s.
