Tottenham Hotspur will be hoping to keep all their top players this summer.

In an interview with Sky Sports News and later published online by Football.London, Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen has been speaking about the prospect of the club losing some of their key players this summer.
While Tottenham enjoyed another promising campaign, finishing as the closest challengers to Premier League champions Chelsea and losing to the same opponents in the FA Cup semi-final, reports have suggested their best players will be targets for top-four rivals this summer.

However, Vertonghen feels the club are in a great position to keep whoever they want.
“I think Tottenham has a strength and power to keep players like that in the team nowadays,” the Belgian international said.
“I really hope they all stay and we can all push together for something very nice next season.”

As stated by Football.London, Kyle Walker and Danny Rose have both been linked with summer exits while Toby Alderweireld is yet to sign a new long-term deal at the club. HoweverTottenham are heading in only one direction and at this stage it would be foolish to jump ship.
Spurs still hold all the cards and if they do not want to cash in on one of their star names you can rest assured they will hold firm.
Tottenham’s players now have a deserved rest before pre-season begins and from there they will be looking to kick on again in 2018 and beyond.
