Harry Winks is making a timely return to fitness for struggling Tottenham.

Tottenham midfielder Harry Winks has explained his fitness is back to a good level, as he is eased back into the first-team fold after his injury issues.
The 22-year-old pass master became a regular in Mauricio Pochettino’s side during the first half of last season, before he was sidelined from January onwards with an ankle problem.
He is slowly being reintegrated to the Spurs side and would love to be involved in the Premier League clash away to Brighton at the weekend.
Winks believes his fitness is now as good as 12 months ago at the beginning of the last campaign, when he found the kind of form that earned him his first senior England international cap.
“I’m feeling fit, strong, feeling back to where I was at the beginning of last season,” Winks told talkSPORT reporter Ian Abrahams.
“It’s nice to get some minutes back on the pitch and now it’s about kicking on and getting the results.
“As long as I’m on top of my ankle and stay on top of the rehab side of it then hopefully there should be no problems.”

Winks’ return is important for Spurs and he offers them a different options in the centre of the park, with his exquisite range of passing key in controlling the tempo of games.
The 5ft 8in ace is clearly a big favourite with Pochettino and is set to put pressure on the likes of Mousa Dembele, Christian Eriksen and Eric Dier for a starting position.
Spurs are currently on a run of three consecutive losses and it could be time for a calm head like Winks away at Brighton, but he’s started just one game so far this season.
