The Tottenham Hotspur striker has been in superb form this season.

Spurs ace Harry Kane spoke exclusively to Sky Sports ahead of his side’s clash with Southampton at Wembley today, and responded when asked if he is confident of beating Alan Shearer’s all-time Premier League record of 260 goals.
The 24-year-old has been magnificent for Tottenham this season, scoring 21 goals in 23 outings in all competitions thus far, and he has now firmly established himself as one of the continent’s most feared front-men.
Kane burst on to the scene three-and-a-half years ago, and has gone on to rack up an impressive 120 goals in 188 appearances for the Lilywhites.

93 of those have come in the league, so he still has a very long way to go before he can even consider beating Shearer’s record.
The England international sat down for an exclusive interview with Sky Sports, and opened up on the possibility of making history over the course of the next decade:
“Of course you dream about it, but I’d be silly to look that far ahead I think. I’ve still got a long way to go. A lot can happen in football. Hopefully I can stay fit, stay sharp and we’ll see what happens. Maybe if I get to 200 and I’ve still got a few more years left then I’ll start thinking about it.”

Kane has another one of Shearer’s records in his sights.
He currently sits on 36 goals scored for the calendar year, level with the record set by the 47-year-old way back in 1995 during his time with Blackburn Rovers.
One thing is for sure, it would take a brave man to bet against the 24-year-old beating both of the Newcastle and England legend’s records.
