Harry Kane is getting used to scoring goals at Wembley.
The Tottenham Hotspur forward netted a poacher’s goal late as England beat Croatia 2-1.
It was England’s final international game of the year and it was the perfect way for the Three Lions to sign out.
Kane sent a message on Instagram after the game, expressing his joy at the important win.
Kane’s message drew thousands of likes and replies, one of them from former Tottenham star Jamie Redknapp.
Redknapp used his Instagram account to respond to Kane, writing: “Great result and a lovely finish Harry.”
Wembley was rocking yesterday late in the second half as goals from Jesse Lingard and Harry Kane helped England fight back from a goal down to Croatia.
A loss would have relegated England from the UEFA Nations League into a group below, instead the win means they have progressed into the final four.
