The Tottenham Hotspur striker is one of Europe’s most feared front men.
Tottenham’s Harry Kane
Spurs striker Harry Kane spoke to the club’s official website after receiving his Premier League player of the month award, and attributed his recent success to a recent change in diet.
The 23-year-old has been in sizzling form for Tottenham this season, scoring 24 goals in 28 appearances in all competitions, and is the league’s leading goalscorer, despite missing around six weeks earlier on in the campaign with a serious ankle injury.
His scintillating performances have helped his side climb to second in the table, albeit a distant 10 points adrift of league leaders Chelsea, and they will need him to be at his very best if they are to have any chance of overhauling Antonio Conte’s men.
And the England international explained how his recent change in nutrition has helped him become a better player, as quoted by TottenhamHotspur.com:
“My diet has changed since January. I’ve got a new chef who I’ve been working with to help with my nutrition, to get me a bit leaner and quicker and that seems to be working.”
Tottenham’s Harry Kane in action
Next up for the Lilywhites is their FA Cup quarter-final clash with Millwall on Sunday, before they return to Premier League action the following week at home to Southampton.
And with Kane’s durability and high fitness levels, it would be no surprise to see him lead the line for Spurs in both of those games.
