The Tottenham Hotspur striker had a penalty appeal waived away at Arsenal.

Harry Kane has denied suggestions that he was guilty of simulation late on in Tottenham Hotspur’s 2-2 draw at Arsenal.
The Spurs hitman went to ground under a challenge from Sokratis Papastathopoulos in the dying stages of an entertaining clash at the Emirates.
Referee Martin Atkinson refused to entertain Kane’s appeal for a penalty and BBC pundit Chris Sutton suggested afterwards that it was a dive, noting that the England striker is ‘better than that’.
But the Tottenham star insists that it was a ‘tired tackle’ from Sokratis and believes that it would’ve been given outside the box.
He told Sky Sports: “The defender made a tired tackle. On halfway I think I’d get that foul. Ref probably thinks I’m looking for it. It is 50-50, I could get it in some games.”
Sutton, speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, added: “Harry Kane is trying to buy a penalty and it’s something he has to cut out of his game. He is better than that.”
Kane is right in saying it could’ve been given on another day, but that doesn’t entirely mean that it was a penalty.
Television replays indicate that the Tottenham star might have been going to ground before contact from the Arsenal defender, but even then the evidence isn’t conclusive enough to say definitively that he dived.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side were 2-0 ahead on the stroke of half-time, with Kane scoring a penalty after Son Heung-min was fouled by Granit Xhaka.
But Alexandre Lacazette halved the deficit just before the half-time whistle, before Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang rescued a point in the second half.
