Eric Dier concedes Arsenal were stronger than Tottenham Hotspur.

Eric Dier has admitted to The Enfield Independent that Arsenal were better than Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
Arsenal snatched the three points and the bragging rights during a feisty North London derby at the Emirates which resulted in them winning 4-2.
Tottenham had led 2-1 at the break after goals from Eric Dier and Harry Kane, but the Gunners produced a second-half blitz which Mauricio Pochettino’s side couldn’t live with.
And the Spurs midfielder concedes that he and his team-mates just weren’t good enough after the break.
He told The Enfield Independent:”Second half we just weren’t good enough. It’s hard to say why straight after a game. But they were better than us and deserved to win.
“But there’s so long to go in this league and we’re very confident in ourselves. We were in the same position last year after we came here.”

It was a scintillating game at the Emirates and Dier is indeed right.
All in all, Arsenal were the dominant team and Tottenham couldn’t live with their North London neighbours for the most part.
And the good news is, both sides do it all again in 16 days for a League Cup quarter-final.
