The Tottenham Hotspur star has been superb this season.

Tottenham ace Christian Eriksen spoke exclusively to the club’s official website about his fine recent run of form, and joked that he has made a rod for his own back, with everyone now expecting him to produce brilliance on a regular basis.
The Denmark international has spearheaded Spurs’ fine run of form since the turn of the year, and has produced impressive numbers this season on the whole, with 11 goals and 10 assists to his name in 38 appearances in all competitions thus far.

The Lilywhites have enjoyed a relatively successful campaign, with Eriksen at the heart of everything good that they have done, and it has only been Manchester City’s brilliance that has stopped them from making a sustained push for the Premier League title.
The 26-year-old sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and joked how he is under pressure to perform every week now because of his fine form of late:

“Yes, that’s bad, people expecting it!. No, of course it’s good. I have a lot of confidence and the players have a lot of confidence. You can see that. You make an extra run because you know the ball will get there and that’s how the feeling is in the team.”
Tottenham still have a lot to play for this season, with the FA Cup and Champions League qualification still up for grabs, and if they are to enjoy a successful campaign, Eriksen will have to be at his very best between now and the end of the season.
