Tottenham want to hang onto Christian Eriksen at all costs.

Tottenham Hotspur’s quiet transfer window showed the club’s strength as they held onto their key players.
Late in the transfer window there was late speculation linking Christian Eriksen with an exit which was subsequently denied (SkySports).
Tottenham’s glamour Champions League draw against Barcelona threatens to breathe new life into the rumours.
Barcelona are long term suitors of Eriksen, Spanish newspaper SPORT reported in the summer, and the midfielder has previously professed his admiration for the La Liga champions.
Now Eriksen is set to get the chance to play at the Nou Camp, fulfilling a dream.
It may get it out of his system, but the downside is that it could tempt him to want it even more.

It isn’t just Barcelona who Tottenham have to worry about.
If Eriksen dominates against them, it will make him even more appealing to their rivals Real Madrid.
Spurs have shown the strength to resist big money offers, and have the ability to do so again.
Yet this looks like it could just be the start of another wave of rumours linking Eriksen to one of the Spanish giants, and it is the price Spurs will pay for having one of Europe’s biggest stars in their ranks.
