Tottenham have done their business, now it’s time to look at the London club’s top starting XI with the new signings.

Despite bearing the burnt from fans and Danny Rose for leaving the transfer business to very-very late in the window, Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will be relatively happy with the business done during the summer transfer window.
Tottenham’s biggest priority in the window undoubtedly was to keep the so called ‘big clubs’ from poaching their players. With the exception of Kyle Walker, for whom the North London club secured an exceptional fee (as reported by the ESPN), Spurs have achieved their target with aplomb.

There was the initial concern that Eric Dier might have his head turned with interest from Manchester United interest (as reported by the Mirror), was eventually fluffed when Manchester United secured a move for Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic.
Interestingly, most of the new signings will probably not go directly into the first team given deals were done with an eye on the future. However, Serge Aurier is expected to start ahead of Kieran Tripper who hasn’t had the best beginning to the season.
