The Tottenham Hotspur playmaker has been sensational this season.

Tottenham left-back Ben Davies sat down for an exclusive interview with the club’s official website, and raved about the quality of Christian Eriksen, suggesting that the Dane is the player who makes Mauricio Pochettino’s side tick.
The 26-year-old joined Tottenham from Ajax in the summer of 2013, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £12.5 million, and he has since gone on establish himself as one of his club’s most important players.

In 219 appearances for the Lilywhites, Eriksen has chalked up an impressive 56 goals and 66 assists, and he is often relied upon to provide his team with a creative spark.
Davies offered high words of praise for his teammate, when speaking exclusively to the club’s official website, suggesting that he is the man who makes his side tick:

“He’s playing out of his skin. I must sound like a broken record but he’s the player who makes us tick. Without him, we miss that link and that little bit of creativity. He keeps putting the performances in, keeps showing that quality, the passing, the goals, people take for granted how good he actually is.”
The Denmark international has sometimes been criticised by Spurs fans for going missing in big games, but he absolutely cannot be accused of doing that this season.
Eriksen is vital to Tottenham and the way they play, and Spurs fans should be thankful that they have a player of his quality at their club.
