Tottenham Hotspur youngster Anthony Georgiou is on loan at Ipswich.

While Tottenham Hotspur played against Blackburn in the under-23 side last night, another of their players was in action in another under-23 game.
Winger Anthony Georgiou was featuring for Ipswich’s under-23s as they fell to a defeat to Charlton.
It comes on the back of a very slow start to his loan stint at Ipswich.
Georgiou has played just 136 minutes of football in total since moving in mid-August.
The Spurs youngster has made five first team appearances for Ipswich, but the longest of these was just for 45 minutes.
At the weekend in the win over Gillingham, Georgiou did not make it off the bench, the first time he has not been involved for Ipswich since joining.
That prompted Ipswich to involve him as a starter in last night’s under-23 game.
It isn’t ideal for Georgiou, who featured for Tottenham’s first team in pre-season.
The young Cypriot has all season to turn his fortunes around and needs to do more to catch the eye of his manager Paul Lambert.
The step down to under-23 level may have been a test, of his attitude as much as his ability. Now he needs to kick on, for his own sake.
