The Borussia Dortmund ace is a reported transfer target for Liverpool, but Tottenham Hotspur should challenge them for his signature.

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino will have a lot of work to do this summer, if he is to build a squad who are capable of making the jump up to the next level, and beating Liverpool to the signing of Borussia Dortmund ace Christian Pulisic would be the ideal way of sending a message of intent to their rivals.
According to German media outlet Bild, the Reds are preparing a €60 million (£53.1 million) swoop for Pulisic this summer, and if Spurs are to match the ambition of their current stars, they need to start competing for players like the United States international.
Pochettino needs to add more competition to his attacking options, and the 19-year-old Dortmund star would fit the bill perfectly.

Pulisic can play anywhere along the front-line and possesses exceptional technical ability.
The American would provide fantastic competition for the likes of Heung-Min Son and Lucas Moura in the wide attacking areas, and more importantly, his arrival in north London would be a sign of the club’s ambition – something that will be vitally important to their hopes of keeping hold of their key players this summer.
Pulisic joined the Bundesliga side in the summer of 2015, as a fresh faced 16-year-old, and he has gone on to rack up 12 goals and 20 assists in 96 appearances thus far – a fairly impressive return for someone so young.

The Dortmund ace is undoubtedly a superstar in the making, and £53.1 million seems like a small price to pay for someone who could go on to become one of the world’s best players.
And if Spurs do win the race for his signature, it could turn out to be a signing of real significance for the football club.
