West Ham United are considering rivalling Tottenham Hotspur with a January bid for Wolverhampton Wanderers winger Adama Traore.
The Telegraph report that Traore could be sold by Wolves this month in order to raise funds for new signings.
Traore is out of contract in 2023 and so far hasn’t shown any real indication that he will be signing a new one.
Wolves would now be willing to sell Traore for around £20million before his value inevitably dips over the next 18 months.
That price tag is very appealing, and West Ham boss David Moyes is thought to be a keen admirer of Traore.
With that in mind, West Ham may now make their bid for Traore in the hope of beating Tottenham to his signature.
Tottenham had two bids rejected over the summer, but their interest hasn’t ended with Nuno Espirito Santo’s exit.
Fabio Paratici and Antonio Conte remain big fans of Traore, possibly with the idea of playing him as a wing back at Tottenham.

That price tag has come down considerably. Tottenham allegedly offered £30million for Traore on deadline day but Wolves said no.
Tottenham or West Ham could now sign the Spain international for £10million less than that, if these new reports are correct.
Whilst his goal and assist record isn’t great, Traore has been branded unplayable by Jurgen Klopp and could bring a dynamic dribbling threat to any side.
