Nuno’s Tottenham Hotspur are now in talks to sign West Ham United target Nikola Milenkovic, according to Sky Sports.
What’s the story?
Sky Sports have reported that Tottenham have swooped in after talks between West Ham and Fiorentina over Milenkovic broke down.
The Hammers have been unable to agree on a deal with Italian club Fiorentina over the signing of the 23-year-old Serbia international central defender.
Discussions between the two clubs have ended for now, which has opened the door for Tottenham to move in.
Spurs are now in talks to bring the young defender to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Tottenham Hotspur over West Ham?
West Ham will play in the Europa League this season, but Spurs have been playing in the Champions League in recent years.
Spurs also have one of the best stadiums in the world, and they have a hew head coach Nuno as well as a new sporting director, Fabio Paratici.

It is an exciting time to move to Spurs, and Milenkovic could flourish at the North London club playing next to Cristian Romero in defence.
Described as “extraordinary” by Fiorentina-owned Marseille defender Pol Lirola in X-Sport in March 2020, Milenkovic is a very good defender who has a lot of experience already and can only get better in the coming years.
