Tottenham Hotspur reportedly want to sign Brennan Johnson from Nottingham Forest to compete with Dejan Kulusevski.

According to The Athletic, Tottenham Hotspur want to sign Brennan Johnson from Premier League rivals Nottingham Forest in the summer transfer window.

Spurs reportedly want to bring in the Wales international forward to compete with Sweden international Dejan Kulusevski on the right wing.

The report has claimed that Tottenham will likely try to include one of their “many unwanted squad players” in a deal to bring the 22-year-old Johnson to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this summer.

Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur

In our opinion, Nottingham Forest forward Brennan Johnson would be a very good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.

Johnson is one of the best young players in the Premier League and is a regular in the Wales squad.

The 22-year-old has scored two goals in 20 matches for Wales.

The Welshman made 33 starts and five substitute appearances in the Premier League for Forest last season.

Johnson scored eight goals and gave three assists in those games.

The youngster can play on the flank or as a centre-forward.

Given that he is only 22, there is still room to improve and grow as a player.

Johnson could add more facets to his game and become an even better player in the coming years.

We believe that Tottenham would be a better team with Johnsson in it, and that the North London club should try to sign the Forest forward in the summer transfer window.
