Tottenham Hotspur are looking to add real quality to their squad and are reportedly interested in a star praised by Arsenal’s Mesut Ozil.

Mauricio Pochettino has signed a new five-year deal and Harry Kane has committed to a new six-year deal too as Tottenham look to keep the nucleus of the team which has performed so well over the last few seasons.
Pochettino has told the Spurs board he must be able to splash the cash to bring top quality stars to North London as Tottenham head into a new era at a brand new stadium.
Spurs have been linked with several stars this summer including former hero Gareth Bale and Brazilian winger Malcom, as reported by the likes of The Mirror.
And now Tottenham have been linked with another player regarded as high quality, at least by Mesut Ozil of bitter rivals Arsenal.

That’s because Turkish media outlet Turkish-Football claims Tottenham want Trabzonspor’s Yusuf Yazici.
But Spurs must act quick because the attacking midfielder and Turkish international is also attracting interest from both Inter and AC Milan.
Turkish-Football claims sources at Trabzonspor have told them Tottenham are interested in 21-year-old Yazici.
“Spurs scouted the player throughout the season and are monitoring the situation,” Turkish-Football states.
“Trabzonspor general coordinator Ozkan Sumer did open up about recent reports regarding an offer but would not name the club involved.”

Yazici is represented by the same agent as Mesut Ozil – Erkut Sogut – and the Gunners star has sung the praises of the Tottenham target in the Hurriyet newspaper.
“I really like Trabzonspor duo Yusuf Yazici and Abdulkadir Omur, they are incredible talents,” Ozil told Hurriyet.
“Yusuf Yazici is an amazing No 10. We have a lot of similarities and I myself in him. His left foot, his position, his close passing and calmness on the ball.
“We will see Yusuf at a big European club in the near future.”
Indeed if Tottenham follow-up their interest in the £13million rated star Ozil may be seeing him up close and personal in the North London derbies next season.
