Costa is part of the Portugal squad for the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar and is an international teammate of United forward Cristiano Ronaldo.
Brentford’s David Raya, Brighton and Hove Albion’s Robert Sanchez and Everton’s Jordan Pickford are also on Tottenham’s radar, according to 90min.

Good potential signing for Spurs
In our view, Diogo Costa would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur and could be a brilliant long-term successor to Hugo Lloris.
90min have reported that Tottenham are looking for a long-term successor to Lloris.
The France international goalkeeper is 35 now.
Costa is 23 at the moment and could develop and improve further.
Porto do sell their best player, and if Tottenham are ready to pay bid for the 23-year-old, then they could be able to sign Costa, although they could face stiff competition from Premier League rivals Manchester United.
