Tottenham Hotspur host Leicester City at White Hart Lane on Saturday.

This weekend sees Tottenham Hotspur taking on Leicester City at White Hart Lane.
It is a meeting between two of the top teams from last season, with the Foxes, of course, ending up as champions and Spurs having run them close for much of that campaign.
Indeed, it was Mauricio Pochettino’s side losing at Chelsea that ended up handing the title to Claudio Ranieri’s men.
The game features an interesting battle in the middle of the park as England duo Eric Dier and Danny Drinkwater go head-to-head.
So, who has been better in the stats so far this season? We have taken a look.

And is it transpires it is the Leicester City star who has been the better as he came out on top in seven of the eight areas analysed.
So far this season on a per-game basis he has managed to win more tackles, 2.78 compared to one and more interceptions, 1.33 compared to 0.75.
He also comes out on top when it comes to defensive duels won per game, possession won in the midfield third, and ball recoveries.
Indeed, for the latter, Drinkwater has managed more than three times as many as Dier per game so far this season.

His domination continues when it comes to accurate passes per game, with the Foxes man posting 55.67 per game compared to Dier’s score of 30.75.
Interestingly, though, Dier has the better passing accuracy of the two by six per cent.
Something of a surprising result, though, and Leicester City will be hoping it is their man who comes out on top when they meet on Saturday.
