Arsenal visit Tottenham on Saturday lunchtime aiming to pull five points clear of their North London rivals.

The Gunners come into the game potentially missing star man Alexis Sanchez, doubtful with a hamstring injury, yet their 5-0 win over Aston Villa without him last week will have them brimming with confidence.

Since a New Year’s Day loss at Southampton, the Gunners have a 100 per cent record in all competitions, buoyed by an impressive 2-0 away win at Manchester City.

They will need to show similar defensive discipline to keep Tottenham quiet in front of what is likely to be a vocal home crowd.

Spurs have shown mixed form lately, losing at home to Leicester in the FA Cup and away at Crystal Palace, while making hard work of a Capital One Cup semi-final against Sheffield United.

They are boosted by having a fully healthy squad, whereas Arsenal are also missing key players such as Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Jack Wilshere.

Spurs can climb above Arsenal in the table with a win, but have scored just once against the Gunners in their last four games, losing three. The two teams drew 1-1 earlier in the season at The Emirates.
