Hugo Lloris could be on his way out of Tottenham Hotspur and former Premier League owner Simon Jordan has quipped that he would happily drive the France captain to Saudi Arabia.
With an injury bringing a premature end to what could be his final – and arguably worst – season between the sticks at Spurs, has Lloris already played his 447th and last game for the London giants?
The former Lyon keeper still has a year left on his contract. But, according to The Athletic, clubs in Saudi Arabia are offering Hugo Lloris the chance to treble his £100,000-a-week wages.

The long-serving shot-stopper is not desperate to leave this summer.
But, with Tottenham seemingly intent on bringing in a new number one, a money-spinning offer could appeal to a now-36-year-old glovesman who will not be too enamoured about the prospect of spending his final few seasons at the Spurs bench.
Is Hugo Lloris leaving Tottenham for Saudi Arabia?
And, as far as one-time Crystal Palace chairman Jordan is concerned, Lloris’ increasingly error-strewn displays mean he is unlikely to be missed at a Tottenham side facing up to a season outside of the Champions League.
“I’d send him over there (to Saudi Arabia) in a cab if it was me!,” Jordan quips.
Barcelona legend and PSG superstar Lionel Messi could be on his way to Saudi too. Thereby, joining perennial rival Cristiano Ronaldo in the Middle East.
But Jordan, who knows a thing or two about the business-side of the game, is not expecting the Saudi Arabian top-flight to become – as Ronaldo claims – ‘one of the best leagues in the world’ in the coming years.
“That Saudi thing is a moment of time, like China,” he tells talkSPORT (11 May, 11am).
The likes of Al-Ittihad and Al-Nassr, Jordan adds, will also struggle to lure players ‘in their prime’ away from Europe; Ronaldo, Lloris and Messi all in their mid-to-late 30s.
“It depends if you’re a player in your prime. What kind of player are you that you want to play in a very, very underperforming league,” Jordan adds.
“Oscar did it. He came out of Chelsea when he was allegedly at the top of his game. And he got a bag of money (in China).
“But they are always going to get this bag of money (anyway). They are not going to the poor house. If I am 26, and playing for one of the big clubs, I would be looking at my career first.”
