Although Spurs will not be moving into their new home until the start of the 2018/19 season, the development process is well under way, and the club uploaded these pictures to their official Twitter account to give fans an update of the progress being made:
It is becoming almost a necessity in modern football to move to a new stadium with a larger capacity, in order to compete with the league’s best.
Tottenham are following in the footsteps of the likes of Arsenal and West Ham, and will nearly double the capacity of their current home when they move from White Hart Lane.

Although it can take a while for a club to become accustomed to their new surroundings – just ask West Ham fans, one key advantage for Spurs is that their new arena is literally a stones throw from their current home.
It will be vital or Tottenham to continue the form they have shown over the last year or so, as they will be looking to enter the new era in their new ground accompanied by Champions League football.
Either way, it must be an exciting time to be a Spurs fan.
