Lucas Moura gives Tottenham the dynamism and pace they wanted when they tried to sign Sadio Mane.

Tottenham Hotspur infamously failed in their attempts to sign Sadio Mane from Southampton.
Mane told The Times last year how he visited Tottenham’s training ground and held talks over a move, instead choosing Liverpool, who offered better wages.
The £34 million was money well spent, with Mane netting a brace for Liverpool against Spurs at Anfield in 2017 in a 2-0 win.
Mane has gone onto score 37 goals for the Reds already and will be a big threat again when Liverpool face Tottenham this weekend.
Perhaps for the first time since failing to sign Mane, Tottenham have their own answer, and have found a suitable alternative with Lucas Moura.

Spurs paid £25 million to sign the Brazilian from Paris Saint-Germain and their investment looks to be paying off.
He has similar attributes to Mane, joining the attack from out wide and possessing both explosive pace and clinical finishing ability.
Moura is Tottenham’s top scorer this season with three goals, which included an impressive brace in a win over Manchester United.
He has been rested over the international break and is ready to shine again.
Outdoing Mane this weekend will be another feather in his cap.
