Nicolo Zaniolo is reportedly set to sign for Galatasaray in a deal that will see the Italian attacker have a release clause worth €35m (£30m) in what is a potential transfer boost for Tottenham.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the AS Roma star is set to join the Turkish giants on a four-year contract that includes a £30m exit clause, something that could entice the likes of Tottenham into making a summer move for Zaniolo just six months after signing for Galatasaray.

The north London side were strongly linked with Zaniolo, with Rudy Galetti even claiming that personal terms had been struck between Tottenham and the Roma outcast. However, as we know a deal was never competed, with the Italian now set to head east to Turkey to revive his career.
