A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur…

In an interview with ESPN, the agent of Kevin Wimmer has confirmed that there is interest from elsewhere in the Austrian centre-back.

Wimmer impressed when he came into the side last season, however he has had to wait patiently for his chances this time out after initially falling down the pecking order.

The injury to Jan Vertonghen means he is likely to get plenty of chances in the coming weeks and Wimmer’s agent has confirmed that Tottenham have no intention of selling his client any time soon.

“There have been a few offers from the Premier League and the Bundesliga,” he said. “All offers have been turned down and he is staying.”

In other news, the Independent claims Manchester United are willing to sell Luke Shaw to Tottenham in the summer.

The problem is, why on earth would Spurs sign the England international when they already have arguably the best left-back in the country in the form of Danny Rose?

United may want to sell, but we cannot see Tottenham buying.

And finally, Own Goal Nigeria reports that the reason Tottenham were so quick to part company with Musa Yahaya is because of leaks involving his pre-contract agreement.

The Nigerian agreed a deal to sign for Spurs on his 18th birthday but he was later sold for £250,000, robbing Tottenham fans of the chance to see the highly rated Nigerian in their colours.
