Weston McKennie has turned down a move to Unai Emery’s Aston Villa and is waiting for bids from Graham Potter’s Chelsea and Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, according to Corriere dello Sport.
Aston Villa target Weston McKennie wants Tottenham or Chelsea transfer
The Italian publication has claimed that Aston Villa and Bournemouth are keen on signing McKennie in the January transfer window, but the Juventus midfielder does not fancy a move to either club.
The 24-year-old USA international midfielder is reportedly eyeing bigger clubs.
The report has claimed that McKennie is waiting for Tottenham, Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund to bid for him.
A report in Corriere Torino has claimed that Villa are willing to satisfy Juventus’s demands of a €30 million (£26.54 million) transfer fee for McKennie.

According to an earlier report in Tuttosport, Tottenham are in talks to try to bring McKennie to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the January transfer window.
Italian outlet CM had earlier claimed that Chelsea co-owner Todd Boehly wants McKennie.
Blow for the Villans
We can understand why Weston McKennie would want to wait for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea or Borussia Dortmund to come for him.
After all, Spurs, Chelsea and Dortmund are bigger clubs than Villa and regularly compete in top European competitions.
Villa are an essentially a mid-table club in the Premier League, while Juventus are one of the biggest and most historic teams in Italy.
