Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur made an enquiry about Arsenal target Leandro Trossard last week, according to The Telegraph.
Tottenham to step up interest in Arsenal target Leandro Trossard
The report published this evening has claimed that Tottenham could now accelerate their interest in Brighton and Hove Albion winger, who has also been linked with Arsenal in the January transfer window.
The Telegraph have reported that the Belgium international winger has effectively demanded to leave Brighton this month after a fallout with manager Roberto De Zerbi.
According to talkSPORT reporter Alex Crook this week, Arsenal are interested in signing Trossard from Premier League rivals Brighton and are monitoring developments over the future of the winger, described as “amazing” by former Liverpool star Jose Enrique on Instagram.

What should Arsenal do?
In our view, Arsenal need not rush into making a bid for Leandro Trossard despite their interest and Tottenham Hotspur’s willingness to make a deal happen now.
Arsenal are reportedly getting close to signing Mykhalyo Mudryk, and if the Gunners are able to bring in the Ukraine international winger from Shakhtar Donetsk in the January transfer window, then they would have no need for Trossard.
After all, there is no point in having too many players for the same positions in the squad.
For now, the Gunners should wait and watch developments regarding Trossard.
