Tielemans is out of contract at Leicester at the end of the season, and, according to Football Transfers, Tottenham want to bring him to Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on a free transfer.
Manchester United and Newcastle United are also reportedly keen on the 26-year-old Belgium international midfielder, described as “fantastic “ by former Leicester manager Brendan Rodgers in The Daily Mail.
Smart signing for Spurs
In our view, Youri Tielemans would be a good signing for Tottenham Hotspur in the summer transfer window.
The Belgian is a very good and capable player who can hold his own in the middle of the park and has extensive experience.
We believe that Tielemans would be able to make an immediate impact at Tottenham.
Now, of course, Spurs do have a very good and strong midfield department, but it would not hurt the North London club to add another player in that area, especially someone who would cost anything in transfer fee.
Tielemans has made 23 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for Leicester this season.
The 26-year-old has scored three goals and given one assist in those games.
