Tottenham are reportedly tracking 18-year-old Gambia wonderkid Adama Bojang amid a breakout tournament at the AFCON U-20 Championship, with many European sides interested in signing the striker.
According to the Daily Mail, Spurs and Nottingham Forest are just two of the sides now keeping tabs on the Steve Biko FC sensation following a brilliant few matches for the Gambia that has seen the West African nation make it to the semi-finals of the competition.
Bojang bagged a hat-trick in a 5-0 win against South Sudan with the striker now tipped to be named player of the tournament, with Gambia facing one of the competition favourites in Nigeria later this week as the Scorpians look to make history and make it to the final.
As a result of such a breakout tournament, clubs are now keeping tabs on Bojang, with Tottenham now one of the many sides following the teenager as the north London club could make a realistic attempt to sign the striker in the summer transfer window.

Indeed, Western Africa has proven to be a gold mine when it comes to signing young players with exceptional potential, with that region of the continent consisting of Senegal, the Ivory Coast and Guinea, and Bojang could be the standout name from the Gambia.
Moreover, should the teenager impress against Nigeria this week in the semi-finals, there’s a good chance that interest in Bojang will increase, which could lead to Tottenham finding themselves in a transfer battle of sorts to sign the 18-year-old attacker.
Tottenham should make the first move to sign Bojang

Competitions such as the AFCON U-20’s are a scouts’ paradise as it gives big clubs an early lead in the hunt to sign some of the world’s most promising talents, and in the case of Bojang, Tottenham must do all they can to land the striker ahead of their rival clubs.
With Forest already in the mix, it might not be long before more Premier League clubs are keeping tabs on Bojang, and for Tottenham, signing the 18-year-old would be quite the move from the north London side given just how good the forward has been in recent weeks for the Gambia.
