Wolves are reportedly in talks for PSG star Pablo Sarabia this month and it is claimed that a fee of £16m is required to sign the Spain ace – but surely, that has got to convince Spurs over a player once offered to the London club.

Sarabia, 30, has been struggling for game time at PSG. The addition of Lionel Messi and the presence of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar have hampered his progress. Now, with his deal ending in 2024, a move is likely this month.

Spanish newspaper AS claim Wolves have made a proposal to sign Sarabia. Jeunes Footeux, meanwhile, say that Sarabia is rated at £16million by PSG. The French champions do not want to make a loss on their £16million signing.

But back in 2018, during Mauricio Pochettino’s reign, Spurs were offered Sarabia. However, Pochettino chose not to sign the winger from Sevilla and a year later, he joined PSG. Right now, Sarabia would be a superb addition at Spurs.

Tottenham desperately need more depth in the final third. Deki Kulusevski and Richarlison have been injured of late, Son Heung-min’s form has dipped. It has seen rookie Bryan Gil come into the team – impressing against Palace.

But Antonio Conte is still yet to trust Gil properly. Though, that might have changed slightly over the past few weeks. Spurs are being linked with Brighton’s Leandro Trossard – but the Belgian might not want a move to Spurs.

Sarabia is a player that has starred on the European stage. He is hard-working, but boasts plenty of flair and can play on either side – or behind the striker. His £16m fee is likely to be cheaper, than a move for Trossard this month.

Despite Pochettino rejecting a move to bring the winger to Spurs, Antonio Conte should right that wrong and bring him to North London – hijacking a Wolves move for the PSG ace. He would surely be tempted by Tottenham.
