Alasdair Gold has told his YouTube channel that Tottenham scouts have been watching Jude Bellingham’s younger brother Jobe at Birmingham City – but claims that while there is interest from Spurs, he is expected to follow Jude.

Rumours emerged on social media over the weekend that teen Jobe Bellingham could end up at Tottenham, ahead of Tuesday’s deadline. The 17-year-old has clocked up 15 appearances for the Blues this term, 18 outings in total.

The England Under-18 star has entered the final 18 months of his contract with his boyhood club. So, Gold has given an update. Bellingham is a player that has been scouted by Spurs, according to the Football London reporter.

He also told his YouTube channel that half of the Premier League have scouted the Birmingham talent. But Gold says that there is little chance Spurs will get the teenager, because he is likely to link up with his elder brother – wherever.

“Bellingham, Jude’s younger brother. From what I understand, Spurs have scouted him – along with pretty much every Premier League club. There is a feeling that he i going to join Jude, Dortmund – or wherever Jude ends up,” Gold said.

So, while there is interest from Tottenham and a number of other Premier League clubs, it does seem as if Bellingham’s future is already decided. He will go to Dortmund, or whichever club his elder brother joins in the coming months.

Dortmund and England star, Jude, is expected to make a move in the summer. Liverpool, Manchester City and Real Madrid are all in the running to nab one of the world’s best young players. A good sign, Spurs are looking at youth.

It will be intriguing to see what Spurs do in the final 36 hours of the window. After a move to Spurs for Pedro Porro fell through. Whether or not Spurs have a back-up option ready to go is unclear – but it might be Emerson Royal remains.
