Richard Keys has stated that Tottenham Hotspur chairman Daniel Levy isn’t going to write off ‘£80 million’ if someone put that sort of transfer fee on the table for Harry Kane in the summer.
The beIN SPORTS presenter added that now is the time for Harry Kane to leave Spurs and ‘challenge’ himself elsewhere after failing to win a trophy in the colours of his boyhood club.
Ahead of his 30th birthday, and the fact that he will have 12 months left to run on his contract, then Daniel Levy would be pretty brave to turn down big offers for his star man in the summer – Arsene Wenger also shared his thoughts.

But given that Tottenham have gone another season without a trophy, they are without a manager and they are going to miss out on Champions League football next season.
Then it puts them in a very difficult position to try and keep the man who has bagged an incredible 208 Premier League goals during his career.
That was touched upon by Richards Keys who stated that money is out of the window from Kane’s part, and if a big offer is put on the table, then the man running Spurs’ ship simply can’t refuse, as he told beIN SPORTS.
“The last thing he now (needs) is money,” said Keys. “He’s not going to have to work another day in his life, is he?! Surely now, if the right move was available, then you would say to yourself ‘I need a challenge, I am out’.
“I don’t see Daniel Levy writing £80 million off too quickly, so they have got a big call to make.”

DANIEL LEVY AND THE TOTTENHAM FANS
If Kane expresses his desire to stay and sign a new contract, then it makes the life of Daniel Levy a lot easier.
But if he wants to leave, then the Spurs chairman is in a bit of a pickle because if he sells Kane, then many will feel he has failed him and allowed such a situation where they are losing a key figure.
Therefore, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Levy, in order to save his own face, turning down big money for his star striker and trying to help build up his own relationship with the Tottenham fans.
