Fabrizio Romano has reported on Twitter that AS Roma attacking midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo wants to join Tottenham Hotspur or AC Milan, not Bournemouth, in the January transfer window.
The Italian journalist has claimed that Zaniolo has turned down the chance to move to Bournemouth despite the Premier League club’s officials travelling to Rome to convince the 23-year-old playmaker, who earns £76,000 per week (SalarySport).
Romano has reported that the Italy international wants to move to either Tottenham or Milan, even though Roma have accepted Bournemouth’s offer.
Tottenham and Milan’s offers for Zaniolo have not been accepted by Roma.
Nicolo Zaniolo stance on Tottenham Hotspur transfer

What should Spurs do?
In our view, Tottenham Hotspur should try again to get a deal done with AS Roma over Nicolo Zaniolo.
The playmaker clearly wants to join Spurs, who would be a better team with him in it.
Tottenham are in a very good position to finish in the top four of the Premier League table this season, and they will also play in the knockout stages of the UEFA Champions League.
So, a player like Zaniolo would help Spurs.
And let’s not forget that the Italian is only 23.
So, the playmaker would be a long-term investment for Tottenham as well.
