A select round-up of the latest news relating to Tottenham Hotspur…

According to a report from Calcio Mercato, Tottenham Hotspur will have to pay £7.8million if they want to sign Fiorentina midfielder Milan Badelj this summer.
The 27-year-old defensive midfielder has a contract with the Serie A side until the summer of 2018 and the latest report claims Tottenham remain interested in the player who has won 20 caps for Croatia to date.
As Eric Dier proved for England against Russia on Saturday, Tottenham have a superb holding midfielder in their possession, but manager Mauricio Pochettino will know the importance of strength in depth heading into next season so a move for Badelj should not be ruled out.

In other news, the Mirror claims Southampton midfielder Victor Wanyama could be closing on a move to White Hart Lane.
As a potential alternative for Badelj, the Kenyan international could be available for as little as £11million after the Saints accepted he would be moving on this summer.
The report claims Wanyama wants to move to Tottenham to reunite with his former manager at St Mary’s.
And finally, according to the print edition of Correire Dello Sport (12/06/2016) and later posted online by Football Italia, Inter Milan have offered Tottenham their pick of Marcelo Brozovic or Jeison Murillo in exchange for Erik Lamela this summer.
The Argentine showed glimpses of his undeniable ability last season but he is still not consistent enough.
