Manchester United are reportedly a club that could potentially sign Harry Kane this summer, with Bayern Munich also interested in the England captain and Tottenham superstar.

According to 90min, the Red Devils could be the favourites to sign Kane this year should the Tottenham talisman decide to leave the north London club at the end of the season but wish to remain in England and the Premier League.

Kane’s contract is due to expire in 18 months. Though with no talks taking place, this summer is shaping up to be the year the 29-year-old striker finally leaves Tottenham, especially if Antonio Conte’s side once again fails to win silverware.

The Tottenham superstar is currently two goals away from becoming the club’s all-time goalscorer. However, despite dozens of personal accolades, Kane is yet to win anything of note in terms of trophies, with Spurs’ last success coming in the form of the League Cup in 2008.

Indeed, with Tottenham’s only real shot of success this season coming in the FA Cup, there’s a good chance that Kane could leave north London this summer, with Manchester United now a potential option to sign Kane if Bayern struggle to bring the England star to Bavaria.

With Erik Ten Hag’s side also set to sign a striker in the summer, the Dutch manager could make an incredible statement by bringing in Kane from Tottenham, with the Manchester giants’ potential new owners also likely to make a big play in the off-season.

Kane signing for United is a tabloids dream, with the England captain joining the country’s biggest club a transfer that will generate headlines for weeks and cause endless speculation for years. Yet through the eyes of Ten hag, a deal could actually happen this summer.

As we know, United are in need of a leading striker who can push Ten Hag’s Red Devils side back to their former heights not seen in almost a decade. And with Kane at the peak of his powers, joining the Manchester giants could be an excellent career move for the England skipper.
