FC Lorient have reportedly set a maximum asking price of €30m (£25m) for breakout talent Enzo Le Fee, with Tottenham believed to be interested in the French midfielder.

According to Foot Mercato, the Ligue 1 side are warming to the idea of letting their 23-year-old star leave the club this summer, with Le Fee enjoying a fantastic year for Lorient having scored five goals and added another five assists from central midfield this season.

With the Lorient star now open on a move this summer, interest is building in Le Fee, with Tottenham one of the clubs chasing the French youngster according to 90min, with Liverpool also chasing the versatile midfielder.

And now, Lorient’s asking price could open the floodgates for a lot of clubs to come in for Le Fee, with Tottenham a side could make an attempt to sign the Frenchman given how much the north London club need a productive midfielder in their ranks for next season.

Indeed, Le Fee’s breakout year might just be a flash-in-the-pan moment, a trap many Premier League clubs have fallen for in recent years. Yet given how highly-rated the midfielder is, there’s a good chance that the 23-year-old could bring his talents from Brittany to London this summer.

As mentioned, though, a reasonable asking price could bring with it some unwanted attention, and for Tottenham, they could soon find themselves having to battle with some Premier League rivals to land Le Fee, who might be keen to join a side of bigger stature than Spurs.

Le Fee has been one of the breakout names of the year, with the midfielder surprising everyone with his incredible performances for Lorient and attracting interest in the process, and for Tottenham, news of how much the midfielder could be worth might cause more damage than good.

Many clubs will be willing to fork out £25m for Le Fee, and with Tottenham not guaranteed a top-four spot, there’s a growing chance that the north London side could miss out on the Frenchman depending on who comes in for the Frenchman this summer.
