Tottenham Hotspur could make a bid for Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku in the summer of 2023 if Antonio Conte is still in charge of Spurs, according to CMW.
Tottenham Hotspur linked with Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku
The Italian news outlet has claimed that should Conte stay in charge of Tottenham beyond the end of the season, then Tottenham could try to sign Lukaku from London and Premier League rivals Chelsea.
The 29-year-old striker is on loan at Serie A club Inter from Premier League outfit Chelsea at the moment.
The Belgium international is scheduled to return to the Blues at the end of the season.
Conte worked with Lukaku when he was the manager of Inter.
The Nerazzurri won the Serie A title with Conte and Lukaku in 2020-21.

Could a transfer happen?
In our view, it is unlikely that Tottenham Hotspur will be able to sign Romelu Lukaku from Chelsea in the summer of 2023.
There are so many factors that would stop such a move.
First of all, Chelsea and Tottenham are big rivals, and the Blues would not want to sell the striker to Spurs.
Then there is the small matter of the transfer fee.
Chelsea paid £97.5 million for the Belgian striker, and they will surely want a hefty fee to sell him.
Would Spurs pay that?
Moreover, the striker is on a weekly salary of £350,000 (SalarySport)?
Would Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy be willing to pay it?
