Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke has decided to reject interest from clubs in England and Scotland in order to stay put in North London.

That’s according to Football.London, who claim that Championship teams and even some sides in Scotland wanted to take Clarke on loan.

Clarke has already had three loan spells away from Tottenham, re-joining Leeds United before stints at Queens Park Rangers and Stoke City.

Clarke seemingly doesn’t fancy yet another loan move, and is rejecting offers to leave Tottenham before tonight’s transfer deadline.

The 20-year-old wants to fight for his place under Nuno Espirito Santo, seemingly sensing a chance to play regular minutes.

That may not come in the first team, though you never know with no deal for Adama Traore on the cards before the deadline.

The Europa Conference League is the best chance for Clarke to make an impact, and he can always re-assess the situation in January if needs be.

Clarke has only played four times for Tottenham’s first team, and will be looking to make many more appearances over the course of this season.

Rejecting those offers is a sign of major confidence from the young winger, but could be seen as a risk if he is sat on the sidelines for the next four months.
